Arby’s Sauce

Yeh, I know…

A sammich sauce that may or may not taste like Arby’s Sauce (I would not know, I don’t eat at Arby’s) posting in the week leading up to Thanksgiving?

The thing is, this recipe, and tomorrow’s and Thursday’s as well, all come together to make my new Holidaze Barbecue Sauce, which good little friends and family members will be receiving this coming festive season, so, it is kinda timely.

And really, very, very good, too! I tend to keep a bottle in my fridge at all times, for burgers, chicken, other sammiches, too; and, there is a good chance that leftover turkey sammiches are in many folk’s future.

INGREDIENTS
•1/2 cup ketchup
•1/2 cup water
•2 tbsp Heinz 57 Steak Sauce
•2 tsp brown sugar
•2 tsp white vinegar
•1 tsp hot sauce
•1/4 tsp onion powder
•1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp kosher salt
•1/4 tsp black pepper
•1/4 tsp Aleppo pepper
•1/8 tsp white pepper
•1/8 tsp allspice

Making it is dead simple.

Measure all the ingredients into a bowl or beaker, and whisk until blended – an immersion blender works a treat for this.

Transfer to a jar or, even better, a squeeze bottle, and stash in the fridge until needed.

I think, once you try it, you will find yourself needing this a lot.
