Horseradish Sauce

Yeh, you could just buy a jar at the market, but, and trust me on this, home made is so very much better!

And… with the weekend coming, a jar of this in the fridge will make most anything, burgers, steaks, roasts, lamb chops better.

This recipe makes enough tasty sauce for mebbe four. If you are planning a bigger gathering, simply double the amounts and prepare to astound your friends and confound your enemies.

INGREDIENTS
•1/4 cup mayonnaise
•2 tbsp prepared horseradish
•1 tbsp Dijon mustard
•1 tbsp sour cream
•1/4 tsp pepper
•1/8 tsp Kosher salt

Note: I use Trader Joe’s which already has a nice horseradish-like bite to it. If you use another Dijon, or, if you simply love horseradish, feel free to bump up the prepared horseradish in your sauce.

Stir all of the ingredients together in a small mixing bowl until well blended, then transfer to a covered jar and stash in the fridge for a few hours or, always more better, overnight to allow the flavors to blend.

That is it!

I guess you could use home made Aioli to give it all a garlic tweak, and that would be pretty awesome, too.

For our sauce, I marinated and then air fried some super tiny lamb chops.

And it was wicked good!

Consider, too, trying this sauce on a sammich or sub.
