Here’s a quick little sumpin sumpin to start the week – a hot sauce that may very well (in my not-so-humble opinion) be THE HOT SAUCE for all of your hot saucin’ needs. I’ve added this to everything from asparagus soup to zanzetti, and it’s all been very good.
It’s wicked simple to toss together, too, from not too, too uncommon ingredients – well, in my kitchen, at least.
Sriracha, sambal oelek, rice vinegar, honey and water; what could be simpler?
INGREDIENTS
•1 cup Sriracha
•1/2 cup rice vinegar
•1/2 cup water
•1/4 cup honey
•2 tbsp chili paste (sambal oelek)
Whisk the ingredients together in a bowl, transfer to a jar, and stash in the fridge until hot sauce goodness is needed.
That is all.
