Seasoned Salt

It was a dark and stormy… ermmm… morning, and Rich was sleeping in after a night of tossing and turning, so I decided to take a (quiet) moment too replenish my supply of seasoned salt.

Sure, you can buy seasoned salts most anywhere, but who knows what else is added to many of them? I like this particular blend because it uses some of my favorite seasonings (how convenient!), but if I’ve added something you don’t care for, or if you’d prefer less sugar, by all means, make

your version of this blend work for you and your household.

INGREDIENTS
•4 tbsp salt
•4 tsp sugar
•1 tsp garlic powder
•1/2 tsp onion powder
•1/2 tsp paprika
•1/2 tsp curry powder
•1/2 tsp turmeric
•1/2 tsp cornstarch
•1/4 tsp black pepper
•1/4 tsp Cayenne

Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and mix with a fork until nicely mixed.

Transfer to a small covered container and use as you will.

Kinda like my Sherry Peppers Sauce, this has become an essential part of much of my cooking.
