This week’s experiment

SourdoughStarterbfLOThe bacon was yummy – Rich used some of my honey French bread to make French toast to go with – a tasty little brunch!

While we were eating, we were talking about the bread and he wondered how hard could sourdough be? Well – this is the starter (thank you interwebs) – 1 cup of warm water and 1 cup of flour. I’ll have to leave it in a warm place for about a week and change and feed it every day (throw out half and add another 1/2 cup of water and flour). By this time next week – I hope to be able to whip up a loaf or three just in time for my sister’s visit – we’ll see what happens…
