After a week of traveling, we’re spending this holiday quietly at home. I have some lamb chops marinating in the fridge, some green beans blanched and cooling for a zippy stir fry, and now, just one more thing to make our dinner later on this evening complete:
Horseradish Sauce.
But wait; do not confuse this sauce with one of those jars or squeeze things from the supermarket – this is the real deal, and so simple to toss together, too.
INGREDIENTS
•1/2 cup mayonnaise
•1 tbsp Dijon mustard
•2 tbsp sour cream
•1 tbsp horseradish
•1/8 tsp coarse sea salt
•Dried chives (optional)
Stir the ingredients together until well blended, transfer to a lidded jar, and stash in the fridge for a few hours to allow the flavors to blend.
Enjoy.
